Producing biochar and pyrolysis oils with eucalyptus wood

In Italy, RE-Cord (Renewable Energy Consortium for Research and Development) performed pyrolisis trials of eucalyptus wood to produce biochar, oils and other liquid fractions in its CarbON unit, an innovative slow pyrolysis plant equipped with a fractional condensation unit. The trials were conducted as part of the work of the BECOOL project.
